I love chai, curry, momo dumplings and Nepali desserts. So I suppose that I was predisposed to like this place. And I did. The food is excellent and the prices, while high, are what you would expect at an international restaurant in a strip mall. The jackfruit curry is my personal favourite with its consistency of meat despite being vegan. I don't think you can go too wrong with whatever you choose actually. The service was kind and friendly and the waitress even taught me a few words of Nepali, which may come on handy someday (you never know). My only criticism of the place is the layout and decor. Despite the elaborate and authentic entryway, inside the shop, decorations are very limited. I could have used a bit more decor and music to set the mood and complete the experience. Just my opinion, of course. Saree Sporting Sinay says: (Full disclosure: I have never actually sported a saree but I love the fashion.) With a Nepali meal, the pleasure is in the details. Be sure to get some chai tea and galub jamun (honey donut balls) for dessert. You won't regret the added expense, once you get a taste.

Goat biryani was cooked to order and was great. Goat meat was tender and the dish was prepared nicely. They’ve been here for 13 years and only my first visit but definitely not my last.

We ordered, Chicken Taas Set Jhol Chicken momo (Jhol on the side) Chicken chowmein (asked for chutney on the side) The restaurant was really neat and clean, including serving plates and utensils (not even a spot). Our server was very attentive and polite. The food portion was optimum for the price. Our favorite was the chicken chowmein with their chutney. Momo had the traditional taste of 'awesome' but the jhol texture could be a little smoother (it still tastes good). Chicken taas set had everything you need for a good meal. Overall, it's a spot to come back for as they seem to have a lot to offer on their menu. 5-stars for the clean spotless utensils & cleanliness.

Being Nepali, I really liked the overall taste of the items I had β€” Aalu Paratha, Chicken Chowmein, and Goat Mutton Taas. One comment about the Taas: I’ve tried it at many places, but I’ve never been served such big bone pieces before. The large bones in the Taas were a bit disappointing it should be boneless.

We went in a couple of weeks ago. I was impressed by how good the food was. Everything was made with a reasonable portion. It is budget friendly. There was only one staff working there. She seemed to be doing okay handling all the takeout and our table; considering we were the only people eating in the dinning room. The place is a little smelly and outdated. But the service was good and the food was exceptional.

Amazing service and phenomenally delicious food! Reasonably priced and generous portions. They even were willing to accommodate my child’s special request. The milk tea was perfect.
